Brain Freeze

We have been watching Man V. Food and on the show they do lots of food challenges at restaurants across the USA. I have always wanted to do a food challenge, but there is no way I would ever win one.
There is a restaurant called Dr. Jazz that has an ice cream challenge. If you eat 12 scoops of ice cream and 2 toppings in 30 mins you get a T-shirt and bragging rights. About 300 people have tried this challenge and only 8 have successfully finished it.

Ben decided to try the ice cream challenge........ His strategy was to get the ice cream really soft and to drink hot water.

Unfortunately, his strategy did not work and he admits defeat.

The Birth Story

Hello everyone this is Cael and this is my Birth Story...................

My Mommy/Daddy had been trying to have a baby for a very long time. They almost gave up hope. But I still needed to come to earth so, on August 28th they received the best news they could ever hope for.....those 2 little pink lines "Pregnant".

They were SO Excited...but they did not want to get their hopes up so they did not tell anyone about me for a while (they had been hurt before). When Mommy went to the Dr during the 7th week she found out that my twin did not make it. They told her that she had what is called Vanishing Twin.

My parents finally decided to tell my Aunts/Uncles that they were pregnant when Mommy was 12 weeks along. During the 17th week they found out that I was a Boy. Yay for Boys!

Since Mommy was considered a high risk pregnancy, my parents got to see me in a U/S ALL the time and loved it. They got to see my personality start to develop in the u/s. Mommy says that I always had my hands up by my head and I would cuddle up next to her ribs. I never wanted to ride in Mommy's belly upside down (who would want all their blood to rush to their head for months anyway) so, Mommy had to have a c-section. Mom did not like the c-section at all (I have heard her crab about it). The c-section went as planned with no surprises and I came out butt first mooning everybody in the room (haha, hopefully that is the last time I moon anybody).

I was born on April 30, 2011 the best day ever cause I get to share a Birthday with my Uncle Brandon!

Mommy had a hard couple of days of recovery so, daddy took care of me by himself most of the time. For some reason he kept on wrapping me up like a burrito, some niffty little trick he learned in the hospital.

So many people came to see me in the hospital (here are some of those people). I feel so loved.


My Uncle Ry and Aunt Andrea flew in all the way from Utah to see me. Uncle Ry was sick so he had to wear a mask.


After 4 days in the hospital my parents got to take me home!

3 Great Things In One Great Day

June 19th was such a special day for our little family. We celebrated Ben's first fathers day, my Birthday and we Blessed Cael at Church. This is one day we will never forget.

Cael had lots of Family and Friends come and support him.

After the Blessing we had our family and some friends over for lunch and to celebrate Fathers Day, my Birthday and Cael's Blessing.

Our friend Rachel makes the BEST desserts. So she made us a very Big cake at Ben's request.

I am ready......
