Snow Day

The snow brings back so many memories...like being in grade school and every time it snowed you wished and wished that they would call of school. You would watch the TV hoping to see that your schools name appeared at the bottom of the screen. I still get that itch, to run to the TV and look at the school closings. Oh to be a kid again. To run and jump in the snow without anybody staring at you wondering what you are doing.
We had about 6-7 inches of snow!!

Eagles

Frozen Mississippi river

Aunt Leann was in town this week so we went to Grafton to see all the egales. Most of the eagles we saw were sitting on the frozen Mississippi river. They looked like little black dots on the ice. It was lots of fun driving down the street jumping in and out of the car looking for eagles.
By the way did you know that there are Seagulls on the Mississipi river. They are not as friendly as the ones that live by the ocean though.

Another Day Another Hospital

I had my defibrillator replaced on Wednesday. It was a last minute decision. My Dr told me on Monday that I have to get it replaced ASAP. I guess I procrastinated to long because the battery got lower than any of the Dr's had ever seen before. I am doing good. I am tired of the pain, it hurts more than I expected. I am looking forward to taking a shower, now that I can move my arm.

My little Fish

We regret to inform everybody but we went to the ER yesturday and the baby didn't have a heart beat. Shalon had a D&C today and is home from the hospital. She is doing good. We are just resting due to all the emotional ups and downs...mostly downs. Thanks for all the love and prayers.

My dog the smarty

Ben got Sandy a laser pointer for Christmas thinking since she loves chasing flies around the house she would love chasing a red light. Well things didn't go as planned. Sandy didn't really get the concept. She kept looking at the light then looking at the laser pointer then at us. So I tried it again telling her to chase the fly....well she again looked at the light on the floor then looked at the laser pointer then at me and then at the laser pointer again. Sandy gave us the look like duh I see you holding the pointer in your hand, I am not a dummy. It was so funny!

I am back

I haven't made a post in a while, I haven't been feeling very well. But in comes the new year and here I am starting to feel a little bit more normal again.
Ben keeps on saying he wants to keep a record of all the so called crazy stuff I have done since we have found out the good news. Like the so called licorice episode. Ben brought home the wrong kind a licorice and he thought it was such a big deal to go get me a different kind......Men.

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep

I have been hearing a beeping sound every morning since Sunday. It was driving me nuts. I had a feeling that it was my defibrillator. I went to the cardiologist today and it was. The battery has about 90 days left on it. Some people may think that it's no big deal but, it is for me. First I will have to go into the hospital to have a new one put in and second I don't think I can afford to get it. If I decide not to replace it I can have it taken out or left inside. What to do?
