We went to southern Missouri this weekend. A friend of ours was having a mid life crises so he decided to wrestle in a open tournament and Ben was coaching him. The day of the tournament we woke up to snow. We must of had 2 inches by the time we left the hotel. It had stopped snowing and started to melt by the time the tournament was over. So we decided to go to the Bass Pro Shop, the very first one ever built. This place was ginormous and packed with people. You walk into a 2 story entrance filled completely with dear heads. This is not the place someone wants to go into that doesn't like hunting.
On our way home we got caught on the highway in a horrible snow storm. We sat and sat in the car with no where to go. The longer we sat on the roads the worse they got. After sitting still for hours we decided maybe we should get a hotel room and stay the night. We called Every hotel in the nearest town and Every hotel was completely booked. The next town after that was 23 miles away so, we started to call those hotels and finally we were able to get 2 rooms. By the time we got to our hotel we had only driven 80 miles and it took us 8 hours. When we woke up and started home the next day, we saw car after car in the ditch.
It was actually a fun weekend. And our friend did a awesome job at wrestling.
